Department Description
The Marketing and Communications Department (MCD) is MEA’s creative engine—driving impact, not just impressions. As MEA’s voice and image, we tell stories that resonate beyond the org while nurturing pride within. Through mentorship, workshops, and hands-on experience, we grow sustainable creativity. Our award-winning legacy, from the COA Wonder Award to Mi Amor’s branding win, reflects our commitment to innovation, meaning, and long-term value.

Mi Amor returns as more than just MEA Merch—associates have the opportunity to craft a brand from idea to execution, all while designing merchandise, crafting marketing campaigns, and working behind the scenes of high-production studio shoots as stylists, set designers, photographers, or creative directors.
MCD Services
Year-round
The marketing and communications arm of MEA provides services that range from brand development, project and brand promotions, visual and graphic collaterals, shoot and video productions, on-site event coverage, and many more.

MCD equips its associates with skill-building sessions, creative assets, beginner handbooks, and spaces for peer-to-peer collaboration so associates can sharpen their craft, lead impactful initiatives, and inspire innovation across the entire MEA community, hoping to reach beyond the organization as well.
