Who we are
Department Description
The Sustainability Department (SUS) is MEA’s core driver of Corporate Sustainability (CS), ensuring that MEA’s operations, projects, and partnerships embody sustainable thinking and action. As internal consultants, SUS provides support to departments and projects in aligning their initiatives with long-term value creation, social responsibility, and environmental consciousness. The department exists to root MEA in sustainable strategy, ensuring that its work leaves a legacy beyond the organization.
ENGAGE
Year-long
ENGAGE is a structured consulting program where associates take on client-facing work, scope sustainability challenges, develop proposals, and deliver outputs for MSMEs, NGOs, and social enterprises.
SUStars
Dependent on Project Timelines
SUStars is MEA’s end-to-end project evaluation program, from planning and budget hearings to execution and post-project assessment, conducting structured sustainability evaluations across environmental, social, and financial dimensions, generating data and best practices that inform how MEA's projects are built and run year after year.
TALAB
Year-long
SUS leads MEA's participation in Ateneo's annual Talakayang Alay sa Bayan civic engagement program, organizing a dedicated, advocacy-driven segment that brings MEA's Corporate Sustainability lens into structured dialogue with the broader Ateneo community, translating internal organizational practice into real public-facing engagement with the issues that matter beyond campus.
