FIESTA

This year’s FIESTA strengthens its advocacy through intentional experiences and meaningful stakeholder relationships, transforming gratitude into a lasting advocacy. The project is guided by the values of Pagkikilala, Pagpapahalaga, and Pakikipagkapwa-tao.

Formation Identity

FIESTA forms MEAns into empathetic and people-centered leaders who recognize the often-unseen individuals behind the Ateneo community. Guided by Pagkikilala, Pagpapahalaga, and Pakikipagkapwa-tao, members learn to serve with sincerity, build authentic relationships with the LS Staff, and transform gratitude into meaningful action. Through hands-on collaboration and direct engagement, FIESTA develops members who are adaptable, compassionate, and intentional in the way they lead and work with others. Ultimately, it reminds MEAns that genuine service begins with seeing people, valuing their contributions, and standing with them beyond a single celebration.

Who we are

Project Description

FIESTA is an annual Christmas celebration that brings MEAns together with the Loyola Schools staff whose work and care sustain everyday life in Ateneo. Through a night of shared meals, games, performances, and spaces for conversation, MEAns honor and appreciate staff members, from custodians to food service workers and other support staff, whose contributions often go unnoticed. Grounded in socio-civic awareness, FIESTA is an opportunity for MEAns to step beyond their immediate circles, connect with the people who help shape their college experience, and build authentic relationships rooted in gratitude, empathy, and mutual respect. It seeks to make giving back more personal and remind the organization that its impact extends beyond its own community.

FIESTA Night

FIESTA Night is a five-hour celebration where MEAns and LS Staff can slow down, connect over great food, share meaningful conversations and fun activities, and enjoy a night that reminds us why celebrating together matters.

FIESTA Appreciation Week

Appreciation Week is a pre-event initiative that celebrates LS Staff through staff spotlights, interactive installations, and hands-on fundraising, giving MEAns a chance to get to know and appreciate the people behind the work before FIESTA Night.

MoreFIESTA

MoreFIESTA keeps the spirit of connection alive beyond the dinner, through a laid-back, low-commitment tambay where MEAns can simply show up, eat, and talk, while LS Staff receive tokens of appreciation to recognize their hard work and service.
