Formation Identity

RWGA invites every MEAn to begin their journey with purpose, passion, and in the company of people who care. It is rooted in the belief that all MEAns deserve a space where they feel truly empowered; a place to grow and find meaning in the work they choose to do, and moreso, a community that welcomes and meets them wherever they are.

Who we are

Project Description

Recruitment Week & General Assembly (RWGA) is one of MEA’s first projects of the year. It is composed of two major events: Recruitment Week, which is spearheaded by the Council of Organizations of the Ateneo (COA), and the annual registration period for ME students to become members. It welcomes new and returning members to the organization via the General Assembly, where MEAns are introduced to the organization’s thrust and opportunities.

RecWeek Booth

The RecWeek Booth serves as MEA’s first touchpoint with its potential members during COA RecWeek. It will feature interactive gimmicks, visuals, and interactions that introduced MEA as a welcoming and growth-oriented community.

General Assembly

The General Assembly is MEA’s official introductory event of the year, meant to orient new and returning MEAns to the organization’s culture, structure, and opportunities through engaging segments and conversations—setting the tone for the year.

AB Fair & Tambay

The AB Fair showcases the initiatives and communities that can be found within MEA’s departments and projects, while a week-long tambay runs alongside to ease MEAns into the community through casual, meaningful interactions and connections.
