Formation Identity

STEPS represents the beginning of every MEAn’s journey, not simply as a transition into the program, but as an invitation to pause, look back, and take their first steps forward. It invites participants to reflect on the experiences that have shaped them, relate to the people who will walk alongside them, and realize the possibilities that lie ahead. Through shared stories, meaningful connections, and experiences rooted in community, STEPS creates a space where beginnings are not faced alone, but welcomed together.

Who we are

Project Description

The Student Training, Enhancement, and Peer Support (STEPS) project is the official onboarding program for incoming freshmen and shiftees of the BS Management Engineering program. Through various talks and activities, it introduces participants to the academic, social, and professional dimensions of ME while helping them build meaningful connections with fellow students and upperclassmen. Beyond preparing participants for the course, STEPS serves as a first step into the ME community and a space where current MEAns can return, reflect, and give back.

STEPS Tambay

STEPS Tambay creates informal spaces for participants and MEAns to connect, unwind, and build relationships through interactive activities and casual bonding.

STEPS Event Proper

STEPS Event Proper is a two-day onsite experience that immerses participants in the Management Engineering community through academic talks, workshops, Amazing Race activities, and culminating experiences.
